Ms. Kelly

Kelly Wegley is committed to helping children love coming to school. She nurtures friendships with students and families. "The Lord has given me a huge heart for children, I have been working with kids since I was 14 years old." I enjoy teaching them, caring for them and preparing them for all life brings them. Watching our students grow and flourish in their talents brings my heart immense joy. Kelly has her Bachelor's of Science in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia. She started OTDS in 2017 out of her home and has been incredibly blessed to watch it grow. Her husband and her have two boys, Rex ( 6 ) Leo ( 3 ).

Owner, Director and Part Time Teacher

My name is Myra Jimenez. I have been a part of Olive Tree Day School since it was an at home day care. I started as Kelly's assistant teacher and have been blessed to witness God work through her to build this wonderful school. My favorite part about this school is being able to build our student's skills through play, creativity, exploration and share God's love while doing so. I always look forward to getting to know each one of my students and love to see the bonds they build throughout the school year! On my free time I like to read, go to the beach, and spend time with family and friends.

I am Jocelyn Guerrero and am extremely excited to be returning to Olive Tree Day school. I taught in the three-year-old class last year but I had to leave OTDS due to school scheduling obligations required to complete my degree.

OTDS held a special place in my heart and I knew I wanted to return as soon as I finished school. I am thrilled to see familiar faces and meet new friends.

A little about myself, I have worked with preschool-age children for over five years and have loved every second. Watching children grow and explore their interests is one of my passions. I recently graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and Adolescent Development from Cal State San Bernardino. I am now pursuing a Master’s degree in K-12 School Counseling. Aside from previously working with young children, the university has also given me a lot of hands-on experiences with children on campus. As an educator, I aim to encourage and support my students to think critically, solve problems, communicate, collaborate, explore their interests, and reflect on their learning. I have a two-year-old son named Adriel and I know how important it is to be trusting of those we leave our children with. I hope to exceed your expectations in loving, caring, and educating your child.

I want to inspire lifelong learners and I am enthusiastic about this journey at Olive Tree Day School.

I enjoy fitness and weight training, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. I am very excited to be a part of Olive Tree Day School and I look forward to getting to know the children and families.

Lead Teacher - 3's

Hello! My name is Nicole Epps, I graduated in 2014 at California Baptist University double majoring in Criminal Justice and Leadership Studies. From 2016-2020 I became a 911 Call-taker for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. I have been married for eight years and we have a four-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy. I have been blessed serving at my local church on Sundays for 15 years primarily ages 2-4 years old. I recently completed required courses at Laguna Technical College to be certified in Early Childhood Education. Being part of the Olive Tree Family and serving along exceptional gifted teachers continues to be an outgoing adventure in which my son and daughter are a part of it as well! They are blessed for being part of a solid, rooted and enriched Christian base education that is given here at Olive Tree! I am deeply grateful and looking forward to what the Lord has in store for each student attending.

Ms. Amanda

Lead Teacher - 2's

It was my privilege to work for OTDS in 2017 as a teacher assistant and it brings me such a joy to return as a teacher. Currently, I am a child development major working on completing my Bachelor’s degree with aspirations of graduate school in the future. I love teaching and motivating children to become independent and confident individuals. From zipping their back packs to confidently putting on shoes; I will help guide your child to the potential God has created for them. Witnessing a child’s “aha moment” will never grew old. Specifically, watching the joy on a child’s face when they have accomplished a task.

Ms. Amanda is married to her husband Jerry and they have a daughter name Juliette who is 4 years old and also a student. I am so happy to be part of the OTDS family once again!
